A Sunflower after a summer rain.
My passion for nature fuels my love for photography. It may have started with bird watching in 1984. Or it may have be inherited from my Father, who photographed every corner of the United States as he traveled. Growing up in Colorado gave me an appreciation for nature and the inspiration to capture it forever with a camera. My favorite photography technique is a close up; the intricate details in nature fascinate me. I enjoying sharing the reflection in raindrops, the smallest feathers on a bird or the amazing pattern in a butterfly's wing. My husband, John, and I are truly blessed to lives on a lake in North Florida. Most of my photos were taken in our backyard, during vacations at the beaches of Florida or Colorado.
